I bought a pair of these for caravanning at the beginning of the year and was very impressed by the engineering having had ghastly folding bikes with steel frames many years ago! Our main bikes are a pair of Schwinn Sierras which are difficult to transport having changed from a motorhome to a caravan. We do not carry them in the caravan on principle because of possibility of cosmetic damage to the van but the risk of this would be low because of the bags and the stability of the units when resting on the floor. The folders are so compact that both also fit into our little Daewoo Matiz with only the larger split seat folded and sitting upright in their bags. We are both in our late sixties and find the rolling resistance quite acceptable on metalled roads. A very good design and excellent attention to finish for the price.
